I am sure you’ve heard of the expression ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’?

Oh yes, it is!!! Most definitely in this day and age where everyone has a website and is on social media; it is important for your personal branding strategy, especially when you are running your own business or are a public figure.

The concept of the headshot has changed. It’s no longer the lifeless expression in front of a plain background with your best suit on. It’s about personality and creativity. The person who looks at your picture should understand in less than 4 seconds who you are, what you are about and if they would want to do business with you.

I work with experienced photographers who are specialized in just that – personal branding and contemporary headshots. They know how to make you comfortable and be just yourself in front of the camera until you forget that you are actually taking pictures.

As equally important as working with an experienced photographer is working with a Personal Branding and Image Consultant (also known as ME) on what to wear for this important photo shoot because the best pose and sweetest smile are not good enough when the clothes you wear are distracting, out of date or just not doing anything for you and your personal branding. Poorly selected clothing can really take away from an otherwise great portrait and the best lighting, location and pose cannot make up for it.

I consult with you on what outfits work best with your personal brand strategy, are flattering for your skin tone and body shape, and are also suitable for the camera. I as well work together with make-up artists and hair-stylists to perfect the look.

The location of the photo shoot is dependent on what message you want to convey to your audience and I will give you creative advice and suggestions.

As a result you will have a set of powerful and expressive images of your authentic self that you can use in multiple ways for your personal branding strategy like website, social media, business collateral and online marketing.

Pre Photo Shoot:

Outfit Selection and Best Posing Techniques:

I suggest 3 outfits that best represent your personality and your personal brand
I teach you how to connect with the camera and show you which poses would work best for you

Strategy Session:

My team sources locations and presents ideal settings and overall look

Day of Photo Shoot:

½ day (4 hours) on location with the production team
I am your Creative Director for that day, work together with the photographer, make-up artist and hair stylist for a smooth, professional and fun experience

Post Photo Shoot:

I assist with selecting the best photographs which are edited by the photographer
